“One man’s trash, is another man’s treasure”

Loving Hands International (LHI) was founded in 2007.  It was founded with one aim in mind-to collect what most in America will consider as “trash,” ship such to West Africa to at-risk individuals; where these donation resources could actually be put to good use.

We aim to operate a credible, accountable, zero red-tape, and 100% resource utilization nonprofit. We know and understand what the needs of the poor people and/or these poor communities are.

The founders of LHI are structured to operate as a volunteer-based organization.  We want to regain back the trust of donors and let the world know there are credible nonprofits organizations out there doing the right thing, helping change lives.

A public humanitarian and volunteer based IRS 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity organizing in underserved communities, here in North Carolina, the US and Ghana, West Africa.

For years, various nonprofit organizations have invested countless resources into supporting the poor and the needy, but still the demand for help in under-served communities continuous to increase globally by the minute.

Growing up in under-served communities, the founders of Loving Hands International (LHI) experienced first hand poverty and social injustices.  They also witnessed how numerous nonprofit organizations came into their communities to help support the needs of  the needy and the poor but ended up being ineffective.

According to research, most nonprofit organizations spend about 60-80% of public donations received on their overhead and other expenses, however, reducing the resource pull meant to support the cause.

However, the founders of LHI believe that nonprofit organizations could be operated without incurring such overhead and unnecessary expenses.

Therefore, it is our promise to utilize one hundred percent (100%) of donation resources to directly support the poor and the needy.

We strive for a better and more balanced community. We aim to collect, effectively manage, and efficiently utilize donation items to help the poor, the needy, and at-risk communities.
