2nd Annual African Peace Festival
The African World Peace Festival & 5k is a fundraiser for Loving Hands International. Proceeds from the African World Peace Festival benefits Africa’s Humanitarian Needs and local community needs as well. We invite you to Downtown Fayetteville to experience a parade highlighting the different cultures, fashions, music, drumming and dancing performers, arts/craft displays, special African cuisine, and health and wellness including a free screening, as well as family-oriented activities and education. Help us bring together participants of every culture as we fill Downtown with a variety of African music, dance groups, and African bands, and help us honor American soldiers of African descent.
The morning kicks off with a 5K Run, and the festival kicks off at 2pm and ends at 10pm with lots of music and cultural dancers as well as a small ceremony honoring our American soldiers of African descent.
